Black Seed Soap to cleanse, nourish and smooth the skin. Black Seed is derived from a small flowering plant grown mainly in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. This healing herb is know by several different names depending on the region - black cumin, kalonji, blackseed, swartzcummel, Nigella sativa, fennel flower, habbat al barakah, sinouj, black caraway and habba sawdah.
Heritage: Black Seed Oil, Nigella Sativa, can be traced back more than 3,000 years to the Assyrians and ancient Egyptians. Discovered in the tomb of King Tutankhamen, Black Seed Oil was reportedly used by Queen Nefertiti to maintain her exquisite complexion. Black seed earned the Arabic approbation "habbatul barakah" the seed of blessing for its powerful properties. Honey has traditionally been used to comfort and soothe skin.
